The LIFE TURBINES project consortium held its GA Coordination Committee in Rimini, gathering representatives from partner organizations to assess technical progress and plan the next strategic steps in advancing urban micro-hydropower solutions.
Coinciding with LIFE TURBINES’ participation in ECOMONDO 2025, Europe’s leading green technology exhibition, the meeting provided a valuable opportunity for technical exchange, coordination, and evaluation of pilot installations. Discussions focused on performance results, replication strategies, and the roadmap for the project’s upcoming dissemination activities.
The partners reaffirmed their shared commitment to supporting the EU’s climate and energy objectives by demonstrating how recovering energy from water distribution networks can contribute to urban decarbonisation and circularity.
