An inspiring week successfully concluded at ECOMONDO 2025, Europe’s leading trade fair for green technologies and circular economy solutions. Held from 4 to 7 November in Rimini, the event brought together innovators, policymakers, researchers, and industry leaders to exchange knowledge and explore strategies for a more sustainable and climate-resilient Europe.
LIFE TURBINES was proudly featured at the European Commission stand in the South Hall, alongside other outstanding EU-funded initiatives such as H2 Shift, SINCERE, and FISATUR. Through presentations, networking sessions, and on-site discussions, the project partners showcased how hydropower technology transforms urban drinking water networks into clean energy systems.
Global Omnium also participated in the session “European and Mediterranean nature-based, digital and cyber-physical initiatives to innovate water management”, highlighting how urban energy recovery supports the broader European Green Deal and LIFE Programme objectives.
Participation in ECOMONDO 2025 marked a major milestone for LIFE TURBINES, reinforcing its role within Europe’s innovation ecosystem and opening new opportunities for collaboration, replication, and policy dialogue.
